It may seem like there is not a lot happening but there is. Still gathering components for the Sawtell access point. For those who want to know it will be on the hill close to the top shop (more later).

Creek tower will be getting an external antenna and mast. Most of this equipment has been purchased, just need to set a date to erect.

We have also looked at different solutions for a backhaul. Wireless 2.4gig links are fine and may be the preferred method (cost wise) but we are looking at an optical solution that may provide us with 100mb links up to 2kms (Hopefully over). This system is based on the work done by the guys from the Ronja Project but faster. We have been talking to different providers of fibre around town but it looks bleak (too costly, need it for $0).
